Merry Christmas

We had a blast this Christmas. With two boys who were getting excited for it and one just enjoying pulling everything off the tree(he started crawling on the 23rd) it had to be fun. We spend Christmas eve with Doug's family. We each pull names then have to guess who had our name. By the time we left there (11:00pm) the boys were exhausted and went right to sleep in the car. Doug and I planned a little better this year and had most of the presents wrapped already, but we were still up till 1 am watching a movie. (Can't break with tradition.) The boys got up, Andrew first, around 7:30 am. He came in our room (which he has to walk right past the tree to get to) and asked to watch a movie. We got up sat on the couch. I asked Andrew to turn on the Christmas tree lights. He still didn't notice the presents. So we put on his m ovie to wait for Douglas. He got up about 15 minutes later. He came down and sat on the couch, he didn't see the presents either. Doug and I had to point it out then they notice and wanted to rip and tear. Neither noticed Santa's footprints. (he came in our front door since we don't have a chimmney). Later we went to mom and dads. The boys got to open more presents and played with Rosie and Gracie. Candy, Paul & Grandma Carrie came over for dinner. Again by the time we left the boys fell asleep. Only to awaken in the morning to a few more presents under the tree(its magic) And also again this morning, tomorrow, up to New Years Day when they finally get to open their stockings! (It's only small things, no big presents now) Well Happy New Year everyone!
